OOPS! Which Bassett Street??? There are two different Bassett Streets in Providence (amazing as it sounds). We are in the Jewelry District - zip code 02903. (The wrong Bassett Street is north of downtown in another zip code.) However, if you have a GPS, you can program it for 6 Hospital Street - which is next door. Driving DirectionsBelow are maps from the following locations:
From the south... via I-95 Northbound
From the north... via I-95 Southbound From the east... via I-195 Westbound From the Point Street Bridge From the south... via I-95 Northbound:
Take Exit 20 – Point Street (this is the NEW
exit)
Stay right on the exit ramp; then immediate right onto Point Street (at the Coro Center East) Almost immediately turn left (the first left) onto Hospital Street Take Hospital Street to the end (pass the Providence Children's Museum) Turn right onto Bassett Street BEADS is on your right, with a small parking lot in front.  From the north... via I-95 Southbound:
Exit 21 "Atwells Ave"
Continue straight ahead on "Service Rd" for seven (7) lights (approx 0.7 miles) The 7th light is Point Street -- bear left on to Point Street Turn Left on Hospital St. Take Hospital Street to the end (pass the Providence Children's Museum) Turn right onto Bassett Street BEADS is on your right, with a small parking lot in front and another in back.  From the east... via I-195 Westbound:
Take Exit 1A – Point Street (this is the NEW
exit as of November, 2009)
Stay right on the exit ramp; then immediate right onto Point Street (at the Coro Center East) Almost immediately turn left (the first left) onto Hospital Street Drive 3 blocks to the end of Hospital St and bear right onto Bassett Street  From the Point Street Bridge:
Proceed Westbound over the Point Street Bridge
After the bridge, continue 5 blocks and turn right on Hospital Street Drive 3 blocks to the end of Hospital St and bear right onto Bassett Street  |
